  • That a person becomes a member of the body of Christ at the moment of salvation through the baptism of the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 12:13, Galatians 3:26-28
  • That believers should be immersed in water after being saved. Such believer’s baptism is an ordinance, but not a means of salvation. Also, the other ordinance to be the Lord’s Supper or Communion. This is a memorial, and not a means of salvation or grace. Acts 8:36-37, 1 Peter 3:21, 1 Corinthians 11:24-26
  • In a translation or rapture of the entire Church. 1Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 4:1-2, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
  • A man is secured in his salvation eternally and unconditionally at the moment he believes. This condition is secured by the numerous irreversible works of God and the Holy Ghost. A person can not lose salvation. 1 Peter 1:3-5, Colossians 3:3-4, Ephesians 1:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:13-15
  • That the saints should be separate from the world as pilgrims and sojourners, that the world is evil in its nature and that Satan is its primary god and governor. 2 Corinthians 6:17, 1 Peter 2:11, 1 John 2:15-16, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 2:2
  • In the active and vigorous pursuit of lost sinners by street preaching, tract distribution, door-to-door witnessing and any other reasonable and appropriate methods of sowing the seed of the Word of God. • The trinitarian doctrine of the Godhead and therefore believe Jesus Christ to be not only the Son of God but also God Himself, the image of God, God manifest in the flesh. The belief that the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, and God Himself. 1 John 5:7, Colossians 2:9, John 1:1, Isaiah 9:6

  • Correct study of the Bible recognizes divisions or periods of time, known as “dispensations” where God deals with man in different ways throughout history. Rightly dividing the word of truth also requires a distinction between the three groups of people in scripture (Jew, Gentile, and the Church) and the three applications of scripture (historical, doctrinal, and spiritual). 2 Timothy 2:15, Ephesians 1:10, Ephesians 3:2, Colossians 1:25, 1 Corinthians 10:32
