GAINES, MI – Kim Burner got frustrated trying to locate quality Christian materials that were inspirational and meaningful for her, especially for Bible Study groups and the Sunday school class she teaches. So she applied her web development talents to her desire to grow spiritually, got business startup training and assistance from the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center (MI-SBTDC) located at Kettering University, and built Burner Books, an online Christian bookstore specifically for women and their needs. www.burnerbooks.com offers King James Bibles and helps, Bible studies, devotionals, Sunday school material, and marriage and family life literature as well as Christian home school. All books and Bibles are King James Version exclusively.
www.burnerbooks.com currently has over 300 titles available and offers free shipping for all US orders over $40. Among the titles are devotionals for women, family and teens by renowned authors such as Dr. Paul Chappell, Dr. Charles Spurgeon, Andrew B. Lyons, and Harold D. Vaughan. Burner Books also offers a large selection of Sunday school materials and Bible study literature including titles such as Abiding in the Fruit of the Spirit by Amy Levesque, Created to be His HelpMeet by Debi Pearl, and Happily Married and Secrets of a Happy Heart by Debi Pryde.
“Although the bookstore is online, I’m looking forward to working with churches and serving women in right here in my ‘neighborhood’ of south central Michigan as I discover and work to meet the needs of Christian women everywhere” according to owner Kim Burner who can be reached at kburner@burnerbooks.com “Burner Books started as just an idea but it has become my passion to help women find the Christian resources they want and need for their personal spiritual journey.”
